Terms of use

These terms are the agreement between you and the provider of TimeCharm, Dmitriy Mitrofanov, a self-employed individual in the Russian Federation (contact: mdevilnsk@gmail.com). The Russian version on the Russian page prevails.

1. Service

TimeCharm is a time-tracking service available at app.timecharm.ru and as apps for macOS, iOS and Android. It is provided “as is”; we do our best to keep it running but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation.

2. Account

You keep your password safe and are responsible for what you enter, including employers’ details. Do not use the service to break the law, spam, hack or overload it; accounts that do may be blocked.

3. Plans and payment

• The free plan allows two employers and shows ads. Paid plans (Starter, Standard, Pro) remove limits; current features and prices are shown on the Pricing page and in the app. Enterprise is available on request and paid by invoice.
• A subscription is a digital service with nothing to ship: after a successful payment, the plan is added to your account automatically and works on all your devices right away.
• Subscriptions are paid monthly or yearly in advance — via YooKassa on the web and macOS, via the App Store or Google Play in the mobile apps — and renew automatically until you turn renewal off in your profile or in the store settings.
• Automatic charges (recurring payments) are enabled only with your consent: before the first payment the app shows the amount and how often you will be charged, and you confirm it with a separate checkbox. The card is stored by YooKassa; we never receive or store card details.
• Three days before an automatic charge, we send an e-mail with the amount and date to your account address.
• In your profile you can turn auto-renewal off, turn it back on, or remove the saved card at any time. Turning renewal off or removing the card does not shorten the paid period: the plan stays active until its end, then the account moves to the free plan.
• Changing plans:
  • a more expensive plan with the same period starts right away; you pay the price difference for the remaining days, and the renewal date stays the same;
  • switching from monthly to yearly starts right away; you pay the yearly price minus the value of the unused days of your current plan, and the new period starts on the payment date;
  • a cheaper plan or switching from yearly to monthly takes effect at the next renewal, with no extra charge or refund; until then you can cancel the change in your profile;
  • amounts are rounded up to whole rubles; top-ups under 1 RUB are not charged.

4. Refunds

For YooKassa payments you may cancel at any time and get a refund for full unused days by writing to mdevilnsk@gmail.com from your account e-mail. App Store and Google Play purchases are refunded by Apple and Google under their rules.

5. Data and liability

Your data is yours and is processed under the privacy policy. Check acts and invoices before sending them. Our liability is limited to what you paid in the last three months, except where the law does not allow such a limit.

6. Changes

We may change these terms and prices by publishing a new version here; new prices apply from the next billing period and price increases are announced by e-mail in advance. Russian law applies.
